A shipment of 19,000 slaughtered animals from Hadi and Adahi meat has been distributed to its recipients in Azerbaijan, Tanzania and the Comoros

 

 

The Saudi Project for Utilization of Haj Meat, which is managed by the Islamic Development Bank, is continuing operations of distributing Hadi and Adahi meat to its worthy recipients in the Kingdom in accordance with the approved distribution plan for 1436H (2015) Hajj. The Plan this year includes distribution of around 850,000 slaughtered animals for Adahi, of which 450,000 will be distributed to poor Muslims in the Haram (Holly mosque in Makkah). The plan also involves 270 charitable organizations in various areas in the Kingdom. In terms of the same approved distribution plan, there is currently a distribution of more than 200,000 frozen adahi meat to the worthy recipients in twenty-three countries in Asia and Africa.

In this regard, Baku, capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan received a shipment of five thousand frozen adahi to distributed to its recipients. The shipment was received by officials from Azerbaijan, a delegate of the IDB who has arrived earlier in Bamako to supervise the distribution process.

Another shipment has arrived in Freetown, Republic of Sierra Leone carrying five thousand frozen adahi to be distributed to its recipients. The shipment was received by officials from Sierra Leone, a delegate of the IDB who has arrived earlier in Bamako to supervise the distribution process.  Another shipmten has arrived in Tanzania carrying six thousand frozen adahi to be distributed to its recipients in Zanzibar and Dar es Salam. The shipment was received by officials from Tanzania,  representatives of the Saudi Royal Embassy and delegates of the IDB who have arrived earlier to supervise the distribution process.

Another shipmen has arrived in Moroni, the United Republic of Comoros carrying three thousand frozen adahi to be distributed to its recipients there. The shipment was received by officials from Comoros and the delegate of the IDB who have arrived earlier to supervise the distribution process.

Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ali, Chairman of the IDB Group expresses his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Crown Prince, his Deputy Crown Prince and the esteemed Saudi government for the generous support given to this charitable Project as millions of poor people around the world are benefiting from adahi and Hadi meat in realization of the wisdom and objective behind this religious practice.
